Programs are offered for adults throughout the year at various times.
PARLOR CLASS: Meets Sunday mornings at 9am in the Parlor.
The Parlor Class discusses a range of topics and typically requires no preparation to participate. All are warmly welcomed to this class.

LUTHER’S SMALL CATECHISM: Meetings days and times vary.
This class is a close study of The Ten Commandments, The Apostles Creed, Baptism & Confession, The Lord’s Prayer, Holy Communion/Eucharist, and Blessings & Prayers. Meeting days and times vary allowing for intentional in-person touch points interspersed among the schedule of zoom meetings. During in-person meetings a special Godly Play experience is available for children.

LUNCH & LEARN: Meets Mondays from 12-1pm in-person in the Parlor and via Zoom.
This class is a book study group. Books are selected based on a topic of interest to the group or a work of an author we love. In general, we read 1-2 chapters per week and meet to unpack those chapters together.

TUESDAY NIGHT BOOK CLUB: Meets Tuesdays from 7-8pm via Zoom.
This class is a book study group. Books are selected based on a topic of interest, and leadership changes with each book.

WEDNESDAY WORD: Meets Wednesdays from 12-1pm in-person in the Parlor and via Zoom.
This class is Bible study. Topics vary from specific books, characters, or themes within scripture. Contemplative practices such as Lectio Divina, Breath Prayer, and journaling are often used throughout the class. There is little preparation required for this class.

Via de Cristo Reunion Groups – Meeting days and times vary
Many members of Advent are involved in Via de Cristo, a three-day retreat ministry which strengthens and renews the faith of Christians and helps them grow into leaders for Christ. Focus in on spiritual growth, study, and action to change our environments for Christ.
